A Guide to Open Innovation and Crowdsourcing
One of the things I’ve failed to note at “Of Note” in the past six months: I wrote a chapter for the book Introduction to Open Innovation and Crowdsourcing: Advice from Leading Experts. I appreciate the opportunity to contribute, and think the final book, which includes chapters from a number of innovation experts, turned out great. My chapter is “Introduction to Crowdsourcing,” in which I go back to the original books on crowdsourcing by Jeff Howe, pull out the main ideas and typology Howe used, and apply that for corporate and small-business innovators.
The book includes a wealth of great info, starting with the foreword by Henry Chesbrough and on through the last chapter, “Envisioning the Future of Innovation,” by Stephen Shapiro.
